Important :
(1) Prefer to use the Check update function in old version of Pwnage to get the new version. If the server is too busy, please download the .tgz file, don't download the .zip file mirror file.
(2) Install SSH, SSL and Cydia Installer in custom package. You don't need to install Installer 4 beta, it has nothing inside.
(3) Please set as New Phone when first sync with iTunes
(4) Update essential packages in Cydia and Install Mobile Terminal, in case SSH won't work, it can help.
(5) Fully reboot (home+power 13 seconds) the iPhone and then proceed to install other useful packages.

我想問下如果我本身已經上左2.0.1, 我想retain返D Data on my phone.
我係咪用iTunes backup左一次,
之後pwn 2.0.1.
再用 iTunes restore 返個backup.
咁就可以有一部有返Data同埋pwned o既iPhone3G 2.0.1?

因為我見佢上面話要set as new phone.
咁係咪即係以後pwnage o既apporach都會係一定要無晒D野唔可以好似ziphone果D咁可以retain返D野?

係, 你用itune back 後到時可以restore
咁你backup 後jailbreak 完唔好set as a new phone 就會有返d 野
ziphone? 你想搞乜for 1.1.4 或之前架咋喎

PWN2.0.1 好唔穩定!!
2.0入左over 8X App/Game 有正板亦有Crack(IPA)全部run到.
但2.0.1 居然有成一板會自動跳出RUN唔到.

我用Mac重新用PWNTOOL Patch左3次, DFU mode Restore 4次一樣會有app自動跳出...

最後要減少入app先得, 好冇引, 比2.0.1搞足一日

It is important to properly uncompress the pwnage tools in order to get the Cydia works after firmware restore.

Either use the update function in pwnage old version to get the new version or download the .tgz file and double click (using system Archive Utility) to uncompress. Don't use command line or third party software to uncompress the file.

Cydia needs +S right to run.

If you have terminal access, this is how to reinstall Cydia (if crashed) in command line after login root 
 
 apt-get remove cydia 
 apt-get update 
 apt-get install cydia


to cleanup Cydia cache, run these 
 
 rm /var/cache/apt/*bin 
 apt-get clean 
 apt-get update

As javacom said, it is the uncompress problem!

Try to use the system default Archive Utility to uncompress. Don't use command line or third party software to uncompress the file.

It may solve you guys problem. Goodluck!
