The performance of 1G RAM for Mac OS X is just acceptable, so you need to buy another notebook 1G DDR2 667/800 RAM to upgrade. There is an empty RAM slot but you need to turn the notebook over and unscrew then open the back plastic casing to install the extra 1G RAM.

GMA950 Graphics 1024 x 600 : OK
USB Hard Disk : OK
USB HSDPA modem : OK
Bluetooth : OK
Quick Time Player, recording : OK
iPhone SDK Development : OK
WebCam & Photo Booth : OK (Bison Cam Version 0.02)

Headphone Jack Output : withh switch.sh and CHUD (see link here, please take note that if you have installed iPhone SDK, you have already installed CHUD)

Sound Line Input / mic : failed
Trackpad Scrolling : not working (but you can press the upper / lower right corner of the track pad to slowly scroll)

If you run photoshop, you might need an external monitor.

10.5.4 is very OK for iPhone SDK and development, so there is no need to upgrade to 10.5.6 at this moment (except you need to use firefox as safari 3.1 has security bug). If you really want to upgrade to 10.5.6, you need extra hacks on Kext.

If you need to upgrade Safari to 3.2.1, you need to first upgrade Mac OS X to 10.5.5 and then update Security Update 2008-007 Client (Leopard)

To upgrade 10.5.5, you can download this update from Apple

After update to 10.5.5, you just need to reinstall the GMA950 driver and everything works except mic / line input

Then download the Security Update 2008-007 here http://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/apple/security_updates/securityupdate2008007clientleopard.html

Then in the Software Update, you can have the option to upgrade Safari to 3.2.1
