成功用 iTunnel! 多謝 valval 及 karen2lee 既好推介..

重比左 $$ 買 iphonemodem... 真係浪費.... 宜家又穩定又快, 重好過以前!

交流下心得先... 對於一 d 未用過 OpenSSH 既朋友 (如小弟), 第一次 connect 去 iPhone 既 ssh server 要用 user: root, password: alpine

問題:
1. OpenSSH 裝完後乜 UI 都冇, 係咪唔用時 disable 左個 server 會好 d? 點 disable 呢?
2. 點轉 root password?
3. 我用緊 foxyproxy 來連接 firefox 及 127.0.0.1:1080. 但如想用 IE, 除了 proxifier 外, 有咩其他 app 可用? proxifier 攪到我上唔到公司 VPN, 要 uninstall 先得....

(呢個 post 係經 iTunnel send 出來既.... 呵呵)

iTunnel and Tunnelier: download: 1246 kbps, upload: 260 kbps

經 3G 上網個速度可接受!

seemebreakthis C Hing, 我用 "Boss Prefs" 同埋 "Toggle SSH" On/Off 個 OpenSSH 的. 在Cydia裡面, 你可以試下.

I can login to my iphone using TunnelierPortable. I've also set socks proxy to 127.0.0.1 port 1080 in Firefox. But when I launch Firefox, TunnelierPortable returns me something below: Any advise? Many thanks.

Closing SOCKS5 connection from 127.0.0.1:1230 sent:0, received:0.
session automatically terminated on client's behalf

剛証實, 用 wireless 來連接 windows and iphone, 唔用 itunnel 淨係用 tunnelier 一樣上到網.

當然 tunnelier 既 login IP 要 set 番做 iphone 連接了 windows ad-hoc network 後的 IP address, 而唔係 127.0.0.1. 另外部 iphone 唔可以熄機, 間中要噤下個畫面等佢唔好 auto off, 如果唔係個 wireless 會斷線... (定係有咩 setting 令 iphone 長著呢?)

如果冇帶條 iphone USB cable 出街, 呢個都係一個幾好既方法經 iphone 上網! 連線速度同用 usb cable / itunnel 差唔多!

- is the iPhone connected to Internet? i.e. 3G running
try open Safari in iPhone and browse to make sure that it is connected to Internet

cydia已經出左隻叫 pdanet o既野, desktop 連 proxy 都唔駛 set, 只要 mac create 個 adhoc wifi network, 搵 iphone 接上去, 再 run 隻 app 就收工
暫時 mac 試用成功..... 至少有 14xkbyte /s download
張 epxress card hdspa modem + usb 接頭可以掉得

C Hing, Settings -> General -> Auto lock -> never 就得囉 !

PDANet 應該係新出, 效果好過晒 tunnelier 及 iphonemodem... 因為連 socks 都唔駛 set, 所有用開既 program 全部 by default 連到上網.

我用緊 PDANet 黎打呢個 message... tunnelier 都重有利用價值既 (例如 chmod 755), 但可以同其他如 iphonemodem 講 bye bye!

iTunnel 應唔會 work... 因佢既用途係 forward SSH commands, 而 PDANet 唔似用 SSH...

Thanks. I accidentally checked the option disconnect after the socks session is over in Tunnelier. After unchecked, it works great. I find it is quite stable and find it is faster than netvigator everywhere 3g.

Sigh, I try to connect office VPN using PDANet but it is fail... may be it is expected, but just wonder will anyone have idea about this? My company is using Cisco VPN
