Ensure U have installed and enabled SSH in your iPhone before upload files to it.

so you can unzip but can't upload into iPhone , right?

to connect iphone by WiFi, you have to install
- BSD subsystem
- Open SSH

then upload by software, cyberduck, fugu...

我抄完兩個files過去開到wedict,但係入咩字都會出Not Found!,請問知唔知點解呀?

me too i copy the dict and idx files to wedict and when i try to search a word and it said the same thing ''NOT FOUND'',anybody can help us here............plz...thank's!!

重申一次係將*.dict.dz 改為*.dict.gz

然後再解壓 *.dict.gz (windows 可以用 7-Zip 呢個 freeware)，得到真正*.dict文件

而唔係就咁將 *.dict.gz rename 改為 *.dict

之後小心將 *.dict 同 *.idx 文件放係 iPhone 糸統正確目錄下

/private/var/root/Library/weDict/
(要留意weDict 呢個 folder 大小楷寫法, "D" 字係大楷)

而 weDict 在第一次執行時要讀字庫, Gen 多一個 file 出o黎, 所以第一次執行時會花多一點時間, 入完字等佢一陣

點解我已經將個file 解左壓, 變左*dict同*idx
但係我將兩個file抄落去之後,諗住用wedict既時侯,
佢自己彈返出去個meun到
我想知點解會咁既??

我係新手..好多野都唔係好識啊,,,thanks!!

新手一問:我跟上面嘅師兄去咗download字典嘅網站,download完改名再解壓但裏面嘅*.dict嘅file解唔到丫咁多位師兄可否教教小弟丫我係用1.02ver丫

Hey, sorry for writing in English and not in Chinese. I am looking for a English to Chinese dictionary for my iPod Touch. So far I have installed weDict and pretty much tried all the free dictionary files of stardict. The only problem I have is that whenever I type in an English word all I get back is chinese characters. But because my Chinese reading skills are not really good I definitely need the pinyin to those characters. As long as I dont have them weDict is pretty useless to me. So I was wondering if you guys know any dictionary files to include in weDict which supports English to Chinese, with Hanzi and Pinyin??? Or maybe there is another Dictionary app for the iPhone/iPod Touch available which supports what I need?

解壓後得到 WyabdcRealPeopleTTS folder 係真人發聲資料庫, 然後將整個目錄上傳到 iPhone 的 /private/var/root/Library/weDict/ , 整個目錄有百幾 MB, 要俾 D 耐性

係 Mac 上我用 cyberduck 上傳 file, 如果唔知係 Mac 點可用 cyberduck 上傳 file, 可以參考o下呢度
