為何在installer裹只有"version 0.1_2"呢?

我試過幾次了...

我用這method~Installation(方法一):
- Install AppTapp installer into your iPhone
- Use iPhone Safari, click the SMS icon under http://www.iphone.org.hk
- You may find "Chinese SMS" in Installer list, install it.

Don't bother trying.... Cingular (AT&T) and T-mobil DO NOT support chinese sms... it has something to do with their network architecture...

You can recv. Chinese SMS (if you're lucky) but it'll simply come out as garbage text. ...

I was so excited about this app
but now letting me down
wait a min...
are you sure they can't receive chinese sms?
I used to have wm PPC phone and smartphone
and I can receive and send chinese sms with no problem
I just thought the problem here might be the number format or something...
Please let me know...

That's very interesting to know since last time I tried, I tried with a Nokia phone to send and recv. Both were puchased in HK so both came with Chinese laguages. Even though the messages went through (both to the other phone and back to itself), the text are all "monster characters" that couldn't be decoded by the phone.

Maybe PPC phones work differently regarding the decoding part... which I assume should be smarter than "ordinary" phones... iPhone on the other hand... I haven't got a chance to give a shot at the US network as I'm back at HK already... In fact, would be really interesting to hear more results from you.

Give a shot using your PPC / Smartphone to send a Chinese SMS to your iPhone to see if the phone can display the text correctly

因為 install 個 pack 未夠新，你聽日再試過啦

Hey Soda,

You can only send CHINESE messages to Cingular User (if you use Cingular), send to T-Mobile User (if you use T-Mobile ).

--------That is not ture. I have sent a lot of chinese Txt Messages to my friend who use the same carrier.-------------------------------------------------------------------

我用ibrickr加左ChinSMS.app
之後加左 2435-ChinSMS.v0.2.zip 入面d file入去
之後我iphone噤佢
變左白色畫面

I'm Cingular/AT&T and sent it to my friend that is T-Mobile
is that why can't receive my sms?
so this app will work for me if I send it to someone that is also Cingular/AT&T?

Installation(方法二):
- Use SSH/SCP to copy the ChinSMS.app into iPhone's /Applications folder
- chmod +x /Applications/ChinSMS/csms <- 你好似打錯左....

chmod +x /Applications/ChinSMS.app/csms

同埋次次一開個program 都係selet 左倉頡..可唔可以改到一開跟我既setting...唔想次次打開都要轉一次到速成
