I don't believe it, it's impossible for HK people. If anyone has enjoyed this unlock service on OTB 1.1.2 with BL 4.06, please share your feeling.

Many so called software unlocked 1.1.2 are just hardwired Turbosim/PSS/Silvercard/877's IC to the phone making you *think* it's software unlock...

Hardwire is even worst than just using clone SIMs, you'll need to replace the IC should you need reprogramming XD

I did not try this service as my iPhone is 1.1.1 unlocked.

But don't be so sure that HK people cannot do this, especially that the AnySim source was already released. It is possible that people build on that knowledge and find solution from there.

This is also one of the reasons for those developers to release the source code of AnySim.

I am sure someone in HK/China/Taiwan may have software 1.1.2 unlock knowledge, but again, only for a price and personal gain $$$$. So this guy in Yahoo doing lots of business for 1.1.2 software unlock infront of customers in Starbucks, so for sure we can find out whether no hardware modification done on iPhone?? Anyway, anyone already sucessfully 'unlock' 1.1.2 by going to

Software unlock only applies to specific firmware. If the unlock involves a fee, how about future firmware upgrade to 1.1.3 ?
Pay again ?

I think, a turbo SIM or something like that is a better choice now. At least, you could probably use it later for future firmware upgrade.

Software unlock only applies to new 1.1.2 OTB iPhones true indeed. But what I am saying here is that this HK guy only person in the World as far as I know claim to be able to software unlock new 1.1.2 phones without using any turbosims/ PSS sims, and other sims that are available. I am just surprised nobody here tried his service and confirmed it is software unlock without any hardware modifications!

I don't think they are real, I have made appointment around 3-4 week ago, at that time they said have to wait as too many costomer asking for there unlock service,and have made appointment until 2 weeks later, but until today they still said have to wait for a while....so what do you think........
