Hi, anyone try this guy? He claimed software unlocking 1.1.2 new iPhones for $800! He seems to be genuine and very busy too! Real or fake??

I just got my unlocked iphone from them yesterday.

Originally i made a booking at the end of November, but they delayed and delayed my appointment until last week.
Before that i thought they are scam and just making jokes so they delay the time slot. But now i really get back my OTB 1.1.2 unlocked iphone.

Tried my iphone for 2 days, every things work fine.

They advertised in Yahoo auction and Youtube, taking many bookings to software unlock 1.1.2 iPhones. Did u take phone to them to unlock or buy from them?? Is it true software unlock as they claimed, NO use Turbo sim/ Pss sim/ or any China made sims?? I need to know if they can really do it for 1.1.2 iPhones since NO one in this World can unlock 1.1.2 but they say thay can! I want to know more before I take my phone to them.

I bought one from US and it is a week 45 1.1.2 OTB. I don't know what true unlock is but i can tell u what i know. I just insert my own smartone sim card only and it works. But there is a problem that when i receive sms, there a +852 before the phone no. is it the problem of 1.1.2? is it true unlock then?

True Unlock means that the phone can accept any simcards from anywhere in the World! As far as I know, it is not possible to unlock a 1.1.2 version iPhones by software only without using some sort of hardware simcard adaptors ie Turbo sim/ PSS sim / Kingsim into iPhone and cutting the sim card u want to use and insert it to one of these simcard adaptor. So if this guy which 'unlock' for you can do it, then he must be the only one person in this World to know how to truely unlock OTB 1.1.2 iPhones and he is surely making $$$$ from it! The problem u have with sms sender number displaying with ( ) is known problem for all iPhones being used outside US. I am surprised the guy dling your unlock not fixed this for you.There is a fix for it on the net, something to do with replacing a file in your phone with AppSupport file??? Search the net for it, but if you are not familar with unlocking, then I would ask that guy to do it for you as it should have been done the first time! Check this link out.

佢地聲稱係當住客人面前解鎖OTB 1.1.2，保證唔拆機
如果真係咁即係全software unlock approach?!
請問有冇人bought this service而且看過哂整過unlock procedure?

Yes, as they claimed true software unlock OTB 1.1.2, apart from Steve Ching from above post, I would be very much interested to hear anyone else tried the service and how successful the software 'unlock'??

I am not living in HK, so can not really go to them for unlock, but if these guys are genuine software unlock 1.1.2, then will send phone back to HK to friend and take for unlocking to them.
Yes, all around the World forums, noone can software 1.1.2 but only this HK guy, may be he knows the secret from people working in China factories where the iPhones are made, inside information?? Anyway, if he claims to be able to do it, then he is HK$$$ millionaire soon!

i send an email to them last night for making an appointment
until now i still havent receive any reply~

otherwise i want to take my phone to sim unlock.
coz i want to use my iphon, i cant just leave my iphone home, wait for the real software unlock.i dont mind to try this software unlock

True software unlock 1.1.2 unavailable anywhere in the World except this HK guy, so yes, would be very interested to know whether true and genuine software unlock, no use Turbosims or any other sims that are available in HK.
