I can use Hutchsio 3G to send MMS properly. However, I still can't use Peoples to do it.

I tried to install two telecom companies in my iphone. It seems work.

i ve download the 3hk .ipcc file and update from my itunes 8.1.1 , however, the phone still doesnt show the internet tel menu. please kindly help!

also, i would like to get CSL.ipcc file

c-hing,

can you please help create the .ipcc for smartone-vodafone? i did a bit research and found out the trick to get the .ipcc file from
~/Library/iTunes/iPhone Carrier Support/

and managed to find the three plist files and opened them, however, i am unsure which part to modify coz name of the file is Hutchison even though i am using a smartone Sim card with my iphone. thanks a lot!

p.s. I've used Iphone configuration utility to set the APN of smartone-vodafone as "SmarTone-Vodafone" and managed to use 3G data after that, will the change of this ipcc file then sych'ing with iphone mess up with that APN info too??

i made an ipcc following the instruction i found from other forums, however, after Option-Check for update and chose this file, there was no error message showing up. then i power off the phone and power on it again, there is nothing in the Network page in Settings....any advice would be appreciated, i attached the file here (PLEASE NOTE THIS IS NOT A WORKING VERSION, it is posted here TO SEEK ADVICE FROM OTHER PROS FOR CORRECTION)

I wish to knwo how to update the ipcc file. Whe nthe file wasdownloaded, it appeared as a ZIP file only without any ipcc extention.

The "shift-restore" expects a file with .ipcc as as extension.

Any help, please ?

Do you know that you can right click the link and "save as" ?

Or you can rename the file after download. It would be pretty easy to do this in your computer.

This file is working fine, there is no need to test another one

When I right click and "save as", the file was downloaded with an extension as zip.

What exactly I have to then afterards ?

Rename the extension "zip" to "ipcc".

I believe your file should be good but I was a bit uncewrtain on the procedure.

Your assistance, plkease.

If yo use the latest itunes 8.2 pre-release, Apple has disabled the import of ipcc file.

Moreover, you don't need to unzip the ipcc file, you use the original .ipcc file
