寫o左個幾有用o既小Tools

[color=red]- 至於unlock, 千其唔好unlock 一d己經unlock o左o既iPhone!!!!!!!!!
如果唔係, anySIM 會出現 "Unable to locate bytes to patch!", 要做 Factory restore先可以救返部機!!

For YouTube, since Google is trying to block un-authorized iPhone YouTube access.
Take it easy, if you can' connect to YouTube

- 幾時run 佢都得 (Unlock 除外), 對iPhone無乜影響

爆開下底個附件, Double click 執行 iTweak.exe, 你就可以:
- AppTapp Installer + Jailbreak
- Activation
- 一click解鎖 (No need WiFi, SSH, Unix Commands, Safari.... Just need your fingers!!)
- 香港電話格式
- YouTube
- 中/英文介面轉換
- 開/關英文自動除錯功能

Sorry about that I miss out this thing... but I fixed it at v1.8.

For you, just simply, do a factory restore your phone on iTune, then run iTweak - Activation again... that's all.

Gary 兄，今朝用個強化器 v1.4 patch 個 youtube，但係在 apptabbisntaller 將程式送去 iphone 時，部 iphone 就轉成黑色畫面並顯示 「Please Connect to iTunes」，最後要取消個 apptabb 程式再開 itunes，進入 itunes 後就話要 restore，restore 後要重新用你個強化器 activate，但 restore 後用強化器就無事。

剛剛用你個 v1.8 patch 多一次個香港電話程式，一運行 apptabbinstaller 後又出現相同情況，而家又要 restore 一次，請問係唔係我係某個步驟出錯呢？

Apptappinstaller can only once only after restore. why you run apptapp installer so many times?

Apptapp is used to break the file system security for iphone after restore. you didn't need to run it afterward.

YouTube 同解唔解鎖無關.

"Reboot" means power off? ( by pressing the top button for 5 sec?)
If yes, I did.

I can use WiFi and GPRS to surf the internet, so that these settings should be OK.

其實我都有同一個問題~

wifi 開左 grps 開左

兩個都connect到上網

但係開youtube 都係唔得, 都係show : Cannot Connect to youtube

昨天到現都都係唔得..今日再try過V1.91 ...Still not work for it ..:<

I use People....
Network setting is: peoples.net (Under EDGE Setting in iPhone)

but there are two problems, one, the weather can't change to hk... 2nd, the phone book, when i set up +85212345678 to be contect in phone book.. but when that no. call, don't appear his name, appear his no. 12345678

Click the " i " icon in the Weather page ...and u can + the area which u want ...then u can get the information for the Weather !

I connected to my network with wifi, when i click on youtube button it just keeps showing loading and cannot connect to youtube

something wrong is really happened to my iphone.. last night i was sleeping so good, in the early morning it rains so hard, someone waked me up by calling me, after finished calling. i saw my iphone got 190 voicemail @@" but i didn't set up anything about the voicemail, and my sim card doesn't have voicemail too.. what's wrong ?

and after i reboot my iphone, then i saw the new icon "anysim" . then i click, go to the anysim , and slide to unlock, nothing happened.. i mean can't slide it.. then have to reboot .. @@" hehe.. nothing to do, just play play with iphone.. give u more trouble..

佢係overwrite d 字型上原來果d度... 所以... 你只可以係裝之前抄定原本果d出黎... 你出個email問題個作者睇下有冇好方案啦...

開包後... 去itune restore個firmware去1.0.2之後就行得iTweak v2.0.3 or above..

Thank you for the great tools. I can enable the youtube, but only the 1st page (Featured). It can connect through wifi. But other pages (Most viewed, searching...) it cannot display. Anyone have the same cases with me? This is just my comment since Youtube is not important for me.

I used iTweak v2.04 to crack my iPhone 8G successfully last night - can make calls, receive calls, WiFi, BT, iPod, everything... But after using it for about 2 hours, it suddenly told me the SIM had problem and then there was no signal. I was listening to music on it then so I wanted to stop playing music and switch off the phone. However, I couldn't do so so I unplugged the charging phone from the dock and pressed the on/off button and slided to switch off the phone. A hourglass icon still flashed for a while and then disappeared not long after.

Then the most stunning thing happened - I COULDN"T switch it on anymore!!! Whenever I pressed the on/off button, the phone simply told me there's no power left and asked me to charge the battery and then the phone went off. Ok, then I placed it back onto the dock and the message "Charging... Please Wait" then appeared forever. Apparently the battery fails to be charged up. I plugged the dock back to the USB port of my desktop. iTunes failed to detect its existence at all!

Is there any way I can restore it to its factory default setting without using the iPhone interface and iTunes? Seems like the biggest problem now is that my iPhone can't be detected anymore....

Just tried this: Reset iPhone. Press and hold both the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button for at least ten seconds until the Apple logo appears...

The Apple logo didn't appear - instead, the same - only the "Charging... Please Wait..." message appeared...

Charge it through AC power.
Again, software unlock will not damage your battery life/operation.

我試過好多個方法
PC同Mac又試過
冇一個work
試過一次無端端開到feature果頁，睇到video，但其他Most Viewed果Ｄ都係Cannot connect to youtube
所以又restore再試，之後又變反全部唔work~_~

Because your iPhone is already unlocked!!!!!

To resume your phone feature, do a factory restore with iTune, that's all.

When I have this screen, I use iPhone safari to browse this forum and load the iUnlock. Then it's OK. no need to factory restore.

2. connect the phone with usb
3. 爆開iTweak v2.10 - Activation, Double click 執行 iTweak.bat

First of all, I like to thank you for building this wonderful web site.
I will getting a iphone in couple days. I like to confirm the steps of unlocking it:

1. Install iTune v7.3.x or lower version.
2. Connect iPhone with PC via USB cable.
3. Upgrade iPhone system to v1.0.2 via iTune.
4. Close iTune and end iTune helper process in Task Manager.
5. Download iTweak v2.10 or higher version.
6. Extract iTweak v2.10 files to folder.
7. Start iTweak.bat.
8. Run step 1 Patch Activation, then run step 2 Unlock.

Please confirm the steps, Thank you so much.

More or less correct. However, you can use newest iTunes (mine is 7.4.1.2) also have no problems with the unlocking....

Remember, for upgrading to 1.0.2 firmware, press and hold the home and power for 25 seconds WITH iPhone connected to computer, else the yellow triangle won't come out :)

This method called "DVD Jon's Activation method". It sucks! You can't put in your SIM Card even you have SIM unlocked!! You iPhone will always said "Incorrect SIM.... un-approved SIM..."

Just run iTweak and select "Activation", that's all you need.

i got the same problem as you.

I got a new, unopened locked iphone 8GB today and start to follow step by step unlocking method to unlock it. but I forgot to put HK local Sim Card inside.

Then, i follow the procedures to activate, i success to activate. but when I start to step 2, unlocking,... after i press anysim program on iphone, eventually this sentence prompting out :-

"The Flash operation succeded but the unlock commands familed. You might want to check the baseband manually using minicom"

Then, I tried to factory restored my iphone and start everything from the beginning... but after i press anysim on the iphone, another sentence prompt out again:-

Unlock failure
couldn't locate bytes to pach

Can someone teach me how to solve this problem? I have searched on this forum and someone said it can be solved by bbupdater. I want to ask for help from any buddy how to solve this problem.? Many thanks in advance.

果句野未必準... 你只要插下張sim入去.. 如果搵到台打到電話就得架啦...

Full restore = Press Home + Power and then connect to itune, And then ituen will ask you, have search one new iPhone right?

when i tried to run itweak.bat, it told me to connect the the computer first, but my phone is already connected!!

so i tried to start all over again, but itune couldnt recover my iphone!! Error 1604

i'm totally stuck now!!!!

Anyone know what's UNKOWN ERROR 1604 in itunes? It shows this pop up error message everytime when i try to recover my iphone. in other words, i'm unable to recover my iphone now...pls help

Try to recover your phone in other computer , that's all. Or, you may try to run Apptapp installer to recover your phone from normal.

請問一下係唔係我run個itweak.bat 就會同我裝埋AppTapp Installer + Jailbreak ??
定或要先裝AppTapp Installer + Jailbreak, 之後才可以step by step行 itweak.bat裡面1, 2, 3.....的option?

因為我見到itweak個zip file裡面係有個apptappinstall.exe, 但又唔見有講到要行啊. thanks!!

齋行iTweak.bat就得.. 一條龍同你做晒.. 但記住要跟足指示做..
(例如.. 如果你係索女.. 就最好搵觀音兵義勇軍幫下手仔勒)

Firstly, thanks for your work. I have some questions about your itweak as follows

1) I have one unlock iphone. I check it that the version of the AppTappinstaller is V2.63 . I would like to know what version of AppTappinstaller in your itweak.

2) As per website of http://iphone.nullriver.com/beta/, it state that itunes 7.4 or later need AppTappinstaller with version V3.1 or laters. Thus, If the version of AppTappinstaller in your itweak is V3.1 , i run this itweak with my iphone, Will it upgrade the AppTappinstaller to V3.1 in my unlocked iphone ?

I am new to this newsgroup.

Will have a locked iphone tomorrow and want to unlock by myself to save money.

Downloaded Gary'a itweak 2.20 already but wanna clarify the following questions before i unlock the phone tomorrow :

1. Do I need to insert my 3HK sim card into the phone before i connect it with my pc?

2. My pc does not have itunes now. Do I need to download and install the current version of itunes (7.4.2) before I unlock the phone or do I need to find the older version e.g. 7.3 ?

Big bro Gary, i tried to restore on another computer, but the Error 1604 message still pops up. i brought the phone to sin tak today and the guy there said he's unable to fix it either. is there any other way i can restore the phone?

我唔得呀 ... 不過我用 dual sim o個o的卡 ...
其實有冇兄弟用呢o的兩張剪卡合一o架?

另 ... 又用另一位仁兄告之o既方法 ... 再做一次 activation (唔做 unlock)
都係唔得 ... 已經係用另一張普通 hk sim 卡試 ... =.=

而家交o左俾 engineer 同事跟進中 ... =X

I think it's time to prepare iTweak 2.4 with "Auto Restore" and "Relock" functions. It's easier for those who fails the unlock procedure once and re-do unlock again.

No need, as after today, you can't buy iPhone out of US.

Also, iPhone will be factory installed with Firmware 1.1.1. No one can unlock new iPhone anymore.

其實會唔會做到一個 library 咁，可以俾其他 program 黎 call , 咁改少少就可以令到其他program 都用到中文

after I used v2.30 to install the dictionary, I found I cannot use ibrickr to install or uninstall application at all. is there any big brother have this thing happen?

I didn't read the whole story there. But internet is a kind of freedom. No one could stop the otherone talking. And hard to stop finger pointing each other as well.

Here what I say means no war. It's just my feeling and sharing.

Understand and much appreciate you folks keep running this site and give free support to every comer.
I had read that post in weiphone.

Here you go the facts from my point of view:
--Know weiphone dev teams really concern on the "stupid" wording.
--Know weiphone dev teams doing their hard work like wedict (which is includes in iTweak).
--Know Gary here keeps ironing new iTweak to make most of us dummy happy with simple interface (although it is a command dos prompt)
--Could imagine NativeApp must be more robust than an apache application like cgi something.

Here is my comment:
--Bill Gate is very pround of his ZUNE. Perhaps it was becasue he is the only user in the world. But we all call it crappy urgy stupid brick.

Almost all of us want a simple click installation. And I am no tech to put apache on my shinny gem. I'm too stupid. What do you think?:O)

To any developers. Keep punching(the code)! I agreed with icz's comment. "iPhoner would make their judement."

Anyone found that the "BlueTooth" 中文介面 have no "confirm" Text but it shows Two Cancel Text buttons?

依家應該要 restore 返原本個 baseband firmware ，再 unlock 多次 ？

Hi you mean I just connect USB cable and run iTweak directly? No need to run iTune first then kill it? Thank you again.

- Try to compile and run with the Hello World UIKit apps.

When I have this screen, I use iPhone safari to browse this forum and load the iUnlock. Then it's OK. no need to factory restore.

But can't read SIM card contact, heard that it is a general problem for whatever version, do u know how to fix?

My friend bought me an iphone at New York on Wed and it is 1.02.

And i just unlocked it!!!! thanks for the perfect unlock tools haha!!!!!

there is an error message at the end of the anySim programme....but i can make calls......so i can just ignore the message?

I unlocked 1 iphone with 1.9.1 2 days ago. When I try to unlock another one for my frd today, I can't do it. This is what I've done
1) restore at I-Tune
2) open AppTapp Install.........the program just can finish

I tried many time, still can go through App Tapp....exe. Moreover, the screen of the iPhon is a new picture, with a CD and the IPhone Plug........

Anyone experience the same, and know how to fix it? Pls HELP!!!!!!!

咁即係有兩個方法改？

1. download and run iTweak v2.3; choose "3" 就ok？無需經過其他software?
2. 用ibrickr可browse到iPhone的System/Library/Frameworks/AddressBookUI.framework/ABPhoneFormats.plist ，再overwrite .plist？

Sorry因為無用PC，想問清楚先，再搵人借機試。Thanks again.

*係咪要USB2.0先得。試過iTweak同ibrickr都好似connect唔到。另外，要點先kill到iTuneshelper？

自己 update 啦, download anySIM 1.02 unzip anySIM.app\入面所有 files 去 itweak 2.30\unlock\ 就得

itweak 其實係一套 batch program...佢張所有 iphone 破解須要啲 program 同 step 一次過幫你做晒...佢亦都要用 anySIM 去解 SIM lock

入面已經有晒破解要用啲 program....包括 anySIM ...不過吾係最新版

please help !! big brothers, I am stuck in this situation

after restore with itune, I click itweak 2.30 , a software name apptapp installer pop up and tell me to jailbreak the Iphone, after checking the box Firmware 1.0.2 and install,

a msg. pop up as followed:

Download failed : unable to open C:\documents and settings\mic\application Data\Apple Computer\iTunes\iPhone Software Updates\iPhone1,1_1.0.2_1C28Restore.ipsw

I check above floder ,none of the file exit

please help

iphone software updates <- 呢個 folder 要自已 create
iPhone1,1_1.0.2_1C28_Restore.ipsw <- 呢個係 iphone 個 1.0.2 foirmware 要自己 download 完放返入 iphone software updates 個 folder 入面, download link :

Oh! Thanks a lot. I done the unlock by itweak 2.3 la.

I find that iphoneinterface.exe can't connect my iphone as using Kaspersky Internet Security 7.0.0.125. If you have this problem, you can stop Kaspersky then the iphoneinterface.exe work fine.

i got the same problem as you.

I got a new, unopened locked iphone 8GB today and start to follow step by step unlocking method to unlock it. but I forgot to put HK local Sim Card inside.

i hae the same problem.. i try to download iUnlock like a memeber said in this forum.. however, safari will not let me download. any other way? please help. step by step instruction please.
i try unlock and restore ... still no luck. i have 1.02 firmware.

So, i restore the phone using Itune and try to run AnySim again, but this time at the end of the process it say:
"couldn't locate bytes to pach"

Questions:
1. Now what should i do, Can you please give me more detail instructions?
you say, do "factory restore", then what else?
(ie. press shift + click "restore" then run itweak to activiate again?)

2. What is the status of my phone? according to my reading, the phone is so call "unlocked", correct?

using Itune 7.3.1
Iphone version 1.0.2
itweak 2.30

you say "唔駛 unlock 多次" but you also say "再 unlock 多次" ?? meaning?

can you explain more? how to restore orginal baseband firmware?
what software/files to use and what are the steps?
ex. how to use "bbupdater"?

ex.
do i need to restore factory firmware (hold shift + click restore in itune)
then run Itweak to activiate... then whats next?

Hi, Everyone!!

I got a problem with iTweak v 2.30
My iPhone is unlock already with version 1.02.

But when I connect to PC using iTweak, it has a message "Please connect your iphone 1st to PC 1st"...."Press any key" .....The windows of iTweak is closed.

Does anyone have this problem before? Or did I miss some steps here?

hi banana123, im the new iphone user too, and i have the same problem like u,can i ask u how u fix ur problem.
my problem is the first time i did all the step and end up w/ "cannot find byte to pach"
today i do all the step again,w/ the same messgae again but it says my iphone is now unlock.
but when i put my t-mobile sim card in it,it has no signal,and couldnt press dial at all.
but i could dial *3001#12345#*, at the field test i cannot touch any other option like network info,cell info,gprs info.......only i could select versions..inside the version, the Firware version is empty <---is this normal??
please any brother can help me.

Help!!!

My iphone was activated before with a software named"iphone unlock toolkit". Wifi/ipod/camera/Safari are okay. But it can't work with phone call and Youtobe. The firmware version is 1.0.0

Today I restore my iphone to 1.0.2. Then i run itweak 2.30. Then AppTapp Installer ran. I quit itunes and checked V1.0.2 to continue. Then it show "downloading iphone 1,1_1.0.2_1C28_restore.ipsw". But finally a message pop up show "Download failed: connecting to host".

How can I do?

我成功將 1.1.1 downgrade 到 1.0.2 同解鎖

但係我想改做中文介面, 我想問下iTweak v2.30 - 24-Sep-2007 可唔可以用係 downgrade 左又解銷左既 iphone?

同我可唔可以downgrade 完成後唔解鎖住

真接用iTweak v2.30 做餘下解鎖動作?

因為我唔知係咪講緊原裝 1.0.2 先用得iTweak v2.30 定down 左 grade 就用得

一萬個唔該.

wow is great software gary* put together but currently be great if he can
update the software for the new 1.1.1 and the activation for it too

Do you have idea's when u will relase this gary?
your sure the man in this :) your older software worked like lucky

Dev team did a great job getting the unlock 1.1.1 out
aand this great site should update it too in there front page.

Hi Gary or others,

I want to know can I overwrite the AnySim 1.01 in this iTweak v2.3 in "Unlock" folder with AnySim1.1.1 for unlock my new iphone?? firmware 1.11 or 1.02??

請問如果我downgrade?個iPhone由1.11做1.02, 之後又行?iTweak, 但係佢都仲係shown "no Wi-Fi"....一口一...我試過restore?之後再行多次iTweak....,但係都仲係話"no Wi-Fi"......我應該點做好呢？請問有無人可以知道應該點做？

我按左unlock 後 iphone就出現一版黑底白字
之後好耐都無反應 (6-8分鐘)，過左一陣我按左home....

而家部機incorrect sim 打唔到電話
有冇巴打知咩事？

同埋每次換sim咭係唔係都要unlock過？

use ibrickr to install anysim.....it worked on my iphone....

Hi big brother Gary / iczfirz, please help !

After activation ok, when I unlock my 1.0.2 by using iTweak_v2.30, up to step 9, everytime when i click out anySIM from springboard it show up less than 1 sec then disappear, so I can't actually unlock the SIM,

I did switch on/off my iphone few time but still the sample problem.

Please help!

I've used iBrickr to install anySIM v1.0.2 again, and it can run OK, however after anySIM run (no error came up) and restart my iPhone, the message "Incorrect SIM - This iPhone must be used with an approved SIM" shown on screen and no phone function.........Please can anyone help!!!

Hi Gary, my name's Gary too anyways...i just restored my iphone ver.1.0.2 and now it needs to activate. It was unlocked already and im assuming after restored it is still unlocked. When I install apptapp installer it says this "cannot open c:\documents and settings\jessie\application data\apple computer\itunes\iphone software updates\iphone1,1_1.0.2_1C28_restore.ipsw

but i cannot find application data...what is wrong here?? plz help!!!
